Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi

Today in the early Morning you will be pick up from Dar es Salaam (Pick up point to be advised) and drive to Mikumi national park for the game drive.

Accommodation

Arrival at Mikumi during the evening and drive direct to Vuma hills Tented Lodge for Overnight.

Lunch and dinner provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.

Day 2: Full Mikumi

Today you will have the full day of game drive in Mikumi national park.

The park is best known for its diversity and abundance of wildlife. A great opportunity to see the Big Five, The Park is best known for its diversity and abundance of wildlife. As well as being replete with game, Mikumi is also an excellent birding destination with over 400 species having been recorded here

Day 3: Mikumi – Ruaha National Park

Today you will drive from Mikumi national park to Ruaha National park, arrival in Ruaha National park during the evening and drive direct Lodge for overnight

Ruaha National Park is a national park in Tanzania. The addition of the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands to the park in 2008 increased its size to about 20,226 km2 (7,809 sq mi)

More than 571 species of birds have been identified in the park. Among the resident species are hornbills. Many migratory birds visit the park.

Day 4: Full Ruaha National Park

Today you will have the full day of game drive in Ruaha National park for amazing game drive.

The park is about 130 kilometres (81 mi) west of Iringa. The park is a part of the 45,000 square kilometres (17,000 sq mi) Rungwa-Kizigo-Muhesi ecosystem, which includes the Rungwa Game Reserve, the Kizigo and Muhesi Game Reserves, and the Mbomipa Wildlife Management Area.

The name of the park is derived from the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern margin and is the focus for game-viewing. The park can be reached by car on a dirt road from Iringa and there are two airstrips – Msembe airstrip at Msembe (park headquarters), and Jongomeru Airstrip, near the Jongomeru Ranger Post.

Day 5: Ruaha National Park – Udzungwa

Today you will be pick up from Ruaha National park and drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park, where you will arrive in Udzungwa national park in the evening and proceed to the lodge for overnight.

Day 6: Full Udzungwa Mountain National Park

Today you will have the full day of hiking and mountain trekking then waterfall relaxing in Udzungwa.

The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a Tanzanian national park in Kilolo District of Iringa Region and Kilombero District of Morogoro Region. The park is mostly located in Kilolo District. It has a size of 1,990 km2 (770 miles2). The habitats contained within the national park include tropical rainforest, mountain forest, miombo woodland, grassland and steppe. There is a vertical height range of 250–2,576 metres (the peak of Lohomero), which incorporates the Udzungwa Mountains part of the Eastern Arc Mountains. There are more than 400 bird species, 2,500 plant species (25% of which are endemics) and 6 primate species. It has the second largest biodiversity of a national park in Africa

Day 7: Udzungwa  – Dar es Salaam

Today in the Morning you will be pick up from Udzungwa National Park and start the driving back to Dar es Salaam for drop off (Drop off point to be advised)

Our Payment Policy

  • 20% Deposit is required to confirm a booking,
  • The final payment of 80% will be due one month before you arrive so we have enough time to get all the park permits, vouchers and GRR permits for your trip to go smoothly.
  • Should the booking be done with less than 30 days before arrival full payment is required to confirm the booking

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be received in writing by emailing us at. All suppliers charge cancellation fees, which they in turn pass on to us. Therefore, reservations that are cancelled reduced in length of stay or in number of people, are subject to cancellation fees.

If you must cancel before your trip, your money will be returned, less the cancellation fees (below).
Following is the scale for cancellation charges:

  • 20% (of the total cost of the trip) if made more than 60 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
  • 50% (of the total cost of the trip) if cancelled between 31 and 60 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
  • 75% (of the total cost of the trip) if cancelled between 15 and 30 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
  • 100% (the total cost of the trip) if cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
