Day 1: Arusha – Mikumi

Today in the early Morning you will be pick up from Dar es Salaam (Pick up point to be advised) and drive to Mikumi national park for the game drive.

Accommodation

Arrival at Mikumi during the evening and drive direct to Vuma hills Tented Lodge for Overnight.

Lunch and dinner provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.

Day 2: Full Mikumi

Today you will have the full day of game drive in Mikumi national park

The park is best known for its diversity and abundance of wildlife. A great opportunity to see the Big Five, The Park is best known for its diversity and abundance of wildlife. As well as being replete with game, Mikumi is also an excellent birding destination with over 400 species having been recorded here

Day 3: Mikumi – Udzungwa National Park

Today you will drive from Mikumi national park to Udzungwa National Park.

The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a Tanzanian national park in Kilolo District of Iringa Region and Kilombero District of Morogoro Region. The park is mostly located in Kilolo District. It has a size of 1,990 km2 (770 miles2). The habitats contained within the national park include tropical rainforest, mountain forest, miombo woodland, grassland and steppe. There is a vertical height range of 250–2,576 metres (the peak of Lohomero), which incorporates the Udzungwa Mountains part of the Eastern Arc Mountains. There are more than 400 bird species, 2,500 plant species (25% of which are endemics) and 6 primate species. It has the second largest biodiversity of a national park in Africa.

Day 4: Udzungwa – Selous    

Today you will be pick up from Udzungwa Mountain National Park and start the drive direct to Selous game reserve now Nyerere national park, arrival in Selous in the evening and proceed direct to the Lodge for overnight.

Day 5: Full Selous ( Nyerere National Park)

The Selous Game Reserve, now renamed as Nyerere National Park, is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km² and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature.

Day 6: Selous – Dar es Salaam

Today you will be pick up from Selous or Nyerere National Park and start the driving back to Dar es Salaam for drop off (Drop off point to be advised)

Our Payment Policy

  • 20% Deposit is required to confirm a booking,
  • The final payment of 80% will be due one month before you arrive so we have enough time to get all the park permits, vouchers and GRR permits for your trip to go smoothly.
  • Should the booking be done with less than 30 days before arrival full payment is required to confirm the booking

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be received in writing by emailing us at. All suppliers charge cancellation fees, which they in turn pass on to us. Therefore, reservations that are cancelled reduced in length of stay or in number of people, are subject to cancellation fees.

If you must cancel before your trip, your money will be returned, less the cancellation fees (below).
Following is the scale for cancellation charges:

  • 20% (of the total cost of the trip) if made more than 60 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
  • 50% (of the total cost of the trip) if cancelled between 31 and 60 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
  • 75% (of the total cost of the trip) if cancelled between 15 and 30 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
  • 100% (the total cost of the trip) if cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
